ALESSANA releases infectious new single ‘Dirty Bathwater’ | New Music

Indie-Soul artist ALESSANA’s latest offering is single ‘Dirty Bathwater.’ Merging R&B and soul together, ALESSANA’s new track is infectious and signature. Heartwarming synths reverberate their energy around the track, whilst her silky smooth vocals dance on top. Her vocals and lyrics work hand in glove in their emotionally-penned format. She hopes to connect with her audience on a level in which they can find solace in her music. Visually, the artists’s music and look form a formidable partnership. Her accompanying visuals for her latest release is an artistically adept music video fuelled by metaphor and her creative lyricism.

Talking further about the meaning of the track, ALESSANA shares: “Dirty Bathwater is an ode to men of the past I want to scrub off my skin.”

ALESSANA is an artist and filmmaker, combining both passions in her work. ALESSANA started making home-made music videos in lockdown on Portobello Road about ex-boyfriends using a selfie-stick, a bucket of mud and some vegetables.  She is set to release a DIY autobiographical 5-part Art EP, ‘My he(art)’, which is a tapestry of tones, voice notes, colour and music. ALESSANA also directed the shoot for her song ‘Ragdoll of Portobello Road’ which involved 70 people (60 featured in the song, 10 crew). The track was also recently featured on the soundtrack of award-winning director Matt Kay’s (Little Miss Sumo – A Netflix Original) documentary ‘Run to the Source’. We can’t wait to hear and see what’s in store.
