Francis La Lune first bought his irresistible tunes over to England in late 2020, and has quickly developed an infamous reputation as a rising star within the London live scene. The singer-songwriter spent two years studying at Abbey Road’s School of Music Production, an experience which allowed him to enhance his music even further. During these studies, he attended and played at hundreds of songwriting sessions and jam nights, which furthered his reputation as a live act.
Francis La Lune revived a warm reception from tastemakers and fans alike upon his debut release. He’s now back and keen to make his mark on 2023 with a new irresistible single “Reasons.” The track manages to find the perfect blending point between ethereal and infectious. “Reasons” features stripped back verses that are sure to immerse the listener alongside anthemic, overdrive drenched choruses. His vocals are as emotive as always, working hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.
Speaking about the single, he says: “The main and only reason why I got a driving license was because I grew up wanting to be able to pack and drive away at any minute. Escapism was always dear to me. Having a gate-away car was going to be my window to the world. Against a reality of indifference and normality, a reality that always had to pose the question “why”, this song stands as a big “why not?”. You don’t need reasons to be happy, just get out and do your thing, as when you learn to live on your own, you’ll always be free.”
With fantastic music and an unmissable live show, Francis La Lune is one to keep your eye on.
