Speaking about the track and collaboration with Make A Wish, Kize said “ After I recorded the song in my bedroom, I also made 1000 paper cranes with the help of friends and family for a YouTube challenge and managed to make them all within a month.I then reached out to Make a Wish foundation to see if the cranes could be donated, and they loved the idea and concept.”

Starting her journey as a YouTuber who completed various learning challenges, Kize was drawn to songwriting through a spontaneous challenge in 2020. Immediately taken by the merging of powerful words into catchy music to craft a narrative people could fall into, the rising musician has developed a genre-blended style led by her knack for storytelling and world creation. 

Breaking through language barriers as an artist fluent in both English and Korean, and with an ability to connect with people through well-written lyrics laid over earworm melodies, Kize Bae is an act to watch.
