Australian born Khmer/Viet producer Maggie Tra teases an ambient floating single ‘Gentle Intentions’ with Vietnamese artist Phan Thuỷ ahead of their ‘Temporary Feelings’ EP release.

After the success of their first collaboration together on ‘Broken Rice,’ in 2021, the two artist decided to work together again on a new EP.

The moody ambient single, sees Phan Thuỷ creating a healing narrative playing the đàn tỳ bà, alongside Maggie Tra’s luscious production. The single bridges modern electronic music with traditional sounds to bring generations together through gentle sounds.

On the single, Maggie said, “Gentle Intentions is a reminder to be kind to ourselves, and really be gentle with ourselves. With my upbringing, being an artist is almost a privilege, so being gentle with ourselves is the best way to heal,”

The 4-track EP ‘Temporary Feelings’ drops 21st April on all platforms released via SYS Sister Sounds Label.
