Malibu Hot Flush Release Second Single – ‘Too Much’ |

Malibu Hot Flush are new on the scene and have already made a significant impression on the music industry. With plays on BBC Radio 6, features from the likes of RTE Entertainment in Ireland and a recently announced Glastonbury appearance they are taking people by the scruff of the neck and with their music, shouting – ‘here we are!’.

The sophomore single develops on their debut ‘Make It Matter’ and expands creatively on what their vision is, teasing us one single at a time. Before long, we should expect some longer form releases from the electronic duo, who take after the likes of New Order and Hot Chip. Like their first single, ‘Too Much’ was produced by Tony Doogan (known for his work with Mogwai and more) and seems to be the perfect fit for the pair.

One half of the group, Luigi Tiberio, explains: “On ‘Too Much’, we originally started playing around this synth riff that made me think of the 70s electronica a la Giorgo Morodor style with those fat square wave tones in your face sort of sound.”

We are following their progress with a close eye and can’t wait to hear what’s next. Be sure to check them out on Spotify!
