Manta has managed to grow his music career from his bedroom. Opting for a heavy DIY approach, he has managed to direct, edit and grade all of his music videos alongside producing all of his music. His unique and signature sound has gathered support from some of the most important tastemakers in the industry. His wins have included: landing on Spotify’s Peach playlist, appearing on BBC Introducing Manchester and a getting ‘Sub Culture’ profile feature with Fred Perry.

Following on from a successful E.P release, Manta is back with an infectious new offering entitled “Clementine.” The track manages to blend multiple genres together, with the likes of pop, hip-hop and urban all to be found within the single. Instrumentally, the single features a colourful melting pot of playful drums, understated guitar lines and irresistible backing vocals. His infectious, lead vocal lines pierce through the mix, working hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. 

Speaking about the single, he says the track was written about: “That feeling of summer love and not wanting summer to end”.

Manta is also set to release his highly anticipated second EP ‘Roundabouts in Therapy’ in April 2023 – a project that is not to miss.
