Music has always been in Michael Blackwell’s heart, spending his youth listening to records intently, so it’s no surprise that he’d become a successful artist himself. His already successful music career has seen him work with the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Amber Run, alongside becoming the guitarist for Louis Tomlinson. Blackwell has fully used his musical experience to create a unique and signature sound that will be sure gather him a loyal fanbase. 

His latest track “Nothing Makes Sense” is an irresistible offering. “Nothing Makes Sense” finds the perfect blending point between emotive and anthemic, creating a fantastic sound that is perfect for a debut track. The single features a heavy-hitting drums, grooving bass lines and chorus-soaked guitars. His vocals are irresistible and work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. 

Speaking about the single, he says: “”Nothing Makes Sense” is a song about the struggles of understanding everyday life. It is easy to feel pressure from social media, confusion from your news feed and uncertainty over each decision you have to make, even with the most optimistic mindset self doubt can be unavoidable. I know my shortcomings, my strengths and weaknesses and I have realised all I can do is try my best even if the world around me seems chaotic’.
