Tay Toe releases irresistible new album “Habits and Setbacks” | New Music

Los Angeles born but Salt Lake based artist Tay Toe has been writing and creating music for a very long time. At the age of 15, he’d often find himself with a microphone, expressing his feelings and emotions. At the age of 21, he started taking his passion more seriously, and started posting music online and playing gigs 2-3 times a month – and since then his fanbase has grown and grown.

His latest album “Habits and Setbacks” showcases his unique and signature sound perfectly. An 11-track offering, the album is destined to take you on a journey. For the most part the tracks on the album feature a colourful musical melting pot of heartwarming synths and simple but effective percussion. On top understated vocal lines work hand in glove with smartly-penned bars. There’s some tracks on the album such as “What You Deserve” that are more heartwarming with atmospheric synths and hard-hitting instrumentation.

Speaking about the album, he reveals: “I worked very hard on this release. I cared about the sound so much and I wanted my fans to notice the extra work that I put into this album. I knew if I took my time with the instrumentals, recording, and audio engineers. That I could make something special. No it’s not perfect, but I’m happy with how it turned out. This was just a beautiful warm up. My next album is going to be a perfect masterpiece.”

Tay Toe has been writing music for 10 years now, and he’s managed to become a versatile artist with his own unique sound. Tay Toe still creates music for his own entertainment, but it’s now made for other people to find solace in also, and we can see him taking it right to the top.
