The Millennial Club was formed by singer/guitarist Andres Owens and bassist/keyboardist, Jared Ortiz, and since their inception they’ve hit a whole host of accolades. The band has opened for Conan Gray, Charlotte Lawrence, Hippie Sabotage, Katelyn Tarver, MOONZz, and Quinn XCII, they’ve also hit millions of streams Spotify. The band has a pool of die-hard fans, making it the perfect time for an E.P release.
The So-Cal band’s latest offering is entitled ‘When It’s Just You & I’ and comprises of 4-tracks. Their signature sound is presented throughout, an 80s pop and 90s R&B combo. Vocal melodies are irresistible and melt in partnership with heartwarming synths, sat perfectly on top of beat driven foundations. Uncertainty of love and broken promises are discussed throughout the E.P. Tracks such as ‘sleepless’ provides the E.P with vulnerability, with a chilled out beat and a heartwarming synth, Andres’s vocals are emotionally penned and soft. Whereas tracks such as ‘xx’ will get you off your seat, drenched with infectious pop, providing heartwarming synths.
Guitarist and singer Andres Owens says: “When it comes down to it, I think that as artists, we all want to impact the world in some way, however big or small; the real reason we do what we do is because we can’t help but feel like we have to. We have to create, express, mold, shape, shift, contort, and most importantly, release the emotions and ideas within us. ‘When It’s Just You & I’ showcases a new side to our musicality while remaining consistent and cohesive to what we’ve come to define as ‘our sound’ as The Millennial Club.”
With many accolades already, and an EP to add to their back catalog, we can see the future being very bright.
