Singer-songwriter and producer Erica-Cody has quickly cemented herself as rising star within the Irish music scene. Hailing from a small seaside town, in North Dublin, Erica-Cody has had a passion for music for as long as she can remember. She started writing songs at the age of 7, and quickly managed to craft a unique and signature sound which merged old school R&B influences with new.

Erica Cody is back with an irresistible new single entitled “Cry Baby.” The track features a vibrant melting pot of grooving drums, driving bass lines and heartwarming synths. On top, her vocals are heartwarming and work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. The anthem is about prioritising your own well-being and working hard to find inner confidence and self-love. Accompanying is an equally striking video.

Erica-Cody shares: “This one’s dedicated to the time wasters that like to make you feel like you’re the problem, and then cry about it. When, in fact, you just know your worth, and stood up for yourself. Never be afraid to find your voice and cut toxicity out of your life without any guilt.”

Erica-Cody has received a whole host of accolades. Most recently, she collaborated on the enormously successful “Irish Women In Harmony” project – created by RuthAnne – which brought together 40 of Ireland’s top and up & coming female Irish artists. With nearly 2 million streams (and counting) on Spotify, extensive airplay and performance on national TV, the collaboration was a huge success. We can see her getting straight to the top.
