It’s incredible to think that Manta is a DIY artist. From his bedroom he’s managed to create immersive music and striking visual assets that have gathered him a global audience. His highly anticipated sophomore E.P “Roundabouts in Therapy,” is on the horizon and will be sure to elevate him even more.

However, in anticipation of this, Manta is back with a new single entitled “Poly.” Featuring lo-fi drums, heartwarming guitars and charming backing vocals, the single comes as a heartwarming offering that is tinged with melancholy sadness. Manta’s vocals land softly on top, working hand in glove with emotionally-penned lyrics.

Speaking about the single, he says: “This song is about one of my old flat mates who always fell in love with the wrong girl. He got into a relationship with a polyamorous girl who was sleeping with other people and he tried to act like he didn’t care but it was eating away at him. I tried to put myself in his position and how he was feeling about it all.” 

If this single is anything to go by, we cannot wait to see what’s in store for him this year.
