Pxrv releases Hip-Hop infused single ‘Summertime’ | New Music

Pxrv is an artist that wants to carve his own lane in the urban field. With musical inspirations in abundance, he’s spent time refining his musical palette – meaning that his music nods to a whole host of different genres. However, his music is ultimately a representation of his West London and North Indian roots. Pxrv’s unique offering is urban and consists of a mix of Hip-Hop, R&B and Afro-Swing whilst nodding to his classical North Indian music training.

This signature sound is present on his latest single ‘Summertime’ – featuring the talented Cartier Ricks and LoudB Muni. Heartwarming synths reverberate summertime vibes around the single.  These synths glisten in the mix alongside an energetic but playful beat. Cartier Ricks and LoudB Muni bring their UK influence – their bars are emotionally-penned, raw and give the track personality, working well in partnership with infectious choruses.

Speaking to us about the release he says: “Summertime falls into genres like Pop, Afroswing, and UK Rap/Hip Hop. Taking inspiration from artists like Burna Boy and Wizkid, the tracks heads an afro style hip hop beat with vocals from Cartier Ricks and LoadB Muni finely polishing the track with that touch of UK Hip Hop.”

Part of the “LoadB” collective, Pxrv is the in-house track engineer and composer and their first collaboration came as the track entitled “Callin” in 2019 with Cartier Ricks and Jmuni (LoadB Muni). Since then the team has been hard at work in building a catalogue of quality music. With “Callin” getting some plays from some pretty serious tastemakers, it’s all up from here.
