Stockton-On-Tees based artist Sisi drops her first offering of the year, “Fallen Angel”. The Afro-pop inspired track sees Sisi delve into her R&B influences while staying true to her signature sound that’s already secured monumental career highlights such as her Reading and Leeds Festival debut, Radio 1 plays and Radio 1Xtra track of the week.
Speaking on the track, Sisi says: “Fallen angel to me is all about losing the innocence and naivety within a situation whatever that may be and finally facing the reality that not everything happens the way we would like and finding peace within those situations may be hard and that is okay.”
A true superstar in the making, 18-year-old singer-songwriter Sisi is here to make a statement for the North-East. Having already received heavy backing from Youth Music & PRS, as well as regular BBC Radio support, Sisi’s 2023 release schedule is set to turn heads.
An incredibly versatile artist covering everything from Afropop to Garage, it’s no surprise that she won the prestigious ‘Young Songwriter of the Year (UK & Ireland)’ award last year. Sisi’s talent has proved undeniable and at such a young age it seems that there will be no limit to her success.
