Paradise Circus releases indie anthem “Sanguinem” | New Music

Paradise Circus have earned themselves an infamous reputation within the Birmingham live scene. The band’s sound showcases a new, modern take on indie-rock that has been received warmly by the industry. The five-piece blend together new energy and nostalgia, with dashes of Inhaler, Coldplay and U2 all to be found in their music.

Their latest single comes in the form of indie anthem “Sanguinem.” An infectious offering, the track will be sure to get you up and moving. Heavy-hitting drums smash through the mix, pairing well with a grooving bass line. Riff-roaring guitars come soaked in overdrive and land on top. Lyrically, the track is emotionally-penned, and this is expressed perfectly through David Purchase’s vocals.

Speaking further about the track, they explain: “The record is about someone who is going into conflict and reflecting on the struggle someone has, originally written in the first person of a boy being forced to fight in war.

The indie-rock outfit are fresh off playing sellout shows with Candid and the Native, however, they’re not stopping there. The band have countless exciting projects and gigs coming up – Paradise Circus is an outfit to keep your eye on.
